ABOUT MAKEUP MINUTES: While working in the make up field for 7 years, creating lots of make up looks for models, celebrities, brides and more, Makeup Minutes was inspired by my experiences of being bullied as a child, and how make up helped me grow out of my low, self esteem and allowed me to find my inner beauty! Bringing the Red Carpet to everyone, I bring the very best makeup knowledge and education to all women, not just celebrities, so every woman can feel empowered and look their very best!

ABOUT BRIANNA MICHELLE THOMPSON:

Brianna Thompson, Makeup Professional, Founder and Host of Makeup Minutes. From her earliest memories, Brianna has always been drawn to beauty and glamour, enjoying playing dress up and trying on her grandmother’s makeup and clothes to play with different beautiful looks in the mirror!

Graduating with a BA from Columbia College in Broadcast Journalism, Brianna started her career on radio as a weather announcer, followed by production and on air work at Louisville’s FOX affiliate WDRB- TV, then working in production for Harpo Studios, aka The Oprah Winfrey Show, in Chicago.  She has also been cast as lead in local and national TV commercials showcasing her natural ability to connect with people thru the camera lens.

Brianna left broadcasting to pursue her passion for glamour and beauty in the colorful world of makeup artistry.  She has worked with nationally recognized beauty brands such as Chanel, and Stila, and Becca to share with clients that “you too can find your personal style through makeup!”  She has taken this approach to national television where she appeared on The Dr. Steve Show offering makeup techniques to clients who suffer from acne and rosacea. She is, also, empowering women through her makeup knowledge and expertise, as a contributing writer, at Sheckys.com. She has showcased her makeup skills at various fashion shows, such as, Christian Siriano, Project Runway’s Season 4 Winner, at a charity event for the Humane Society.

Being a victim of bullying at a young age, and overcoming a weight problem, Brianna hopes to show thru education and empowerment for all women, that beauty truly comes from having confidence within. Currently, she is establishing a realm of her own, with the launch of a website. ”I created MAKEUPMINUTES.COM to educate and empower women through makeup and to help them learn how to bring out there inner glamour through the power of makeup! I want each and every woman to feel like they are their own celebrity!”

Her website consists of video tutorials, product reviews, education and interacting with her visitors.  ”By sharing my personal experiences, and my knowledge in the beauty industry, I hope to offer value, excitement and confidence to women of all ages by bridging the gap from makeup artist to client.”
