Your new website looks great and it’s so easy to navigate! I hope you are having fun! I am just wondering how familiar you are with NARS products? If you’ve used the eyeshadows, can you share w/me your thoughts? I am also interested to know how NARS products compare to MAC products.

Thanks so much! Yes, I am familiar with Nars Products!  They have an terrific makeup line!  I dont always use there line because it can be a little pricey at times ($23 an eyeshadow), but they’re eyeshadows are amazing. There darker shades are very pressed so when you apply them they glide on nicely and the color doesnt fly all over the place….as long as you are using good brushes, also. I have had a hard time trying to “dupe” there shades. They have very rich pigments and the colors are certainly unique. One of my favorite Nars shadows is Tropic- a rich, sparkly, glam, blue shade that wear well all year round as eyeliner or on the lid or crease.

I think the Nars eyeshadow formulas are a little more high end and luxe, than MAC, but, I have some amazing MAC shadows too that I cant live without.  I think it just depends on the color, texture and look are trying to achieve. I always recommend using MANY makeup lines as I believe there is not one makeup line that does everything fabulous 100%.  Overall, I believe the Nars line is a little better than MAC as far as uniqueness of color, and quality of texture.  However, sometimes you just cant beat the price of MAC!

One last thing to keep in mind, if the makeup goes on clean, effortless and lasts all day…than you have found a terrific product!
