Was curious if you can recommend a product and even technique to applying eyeliner to the waterline. Love the dark sultry look it gives my Filipino eyes, but it never lasts. I’ve dabbed my waterline dry, put waterproof liner, but still no luck. I figured it must be my eyes that are the problem. Thanks! Lanizelle

Hi Lanizelle!  I love your name, by the way!  Hence the name “eyeliner  to the waterline”…..there is not much over the counter that will be a permanent solution because its in the waterline, near the eye.  I do recommend using a “kohl”eyeliner pencil, over anything else. “Kohl” eyeliner is especially made for this technique. You may find- if you are not using kohl already- that they may last a little longer because they were created for this sexy, smultry look! I prefer the MAC Kohl Eyeliners ($15) because I have sensitive eyes, I dont get a reaction to them.

To get a through application, gently, take the pencil and glide it in a back and forth motion, along the inner rim of the waterline. Unfortunately, because the makeup is placed in the waterline, touch-ups are needed. Just carry your pencil along side your lipgloss, so you can always glam up whenever you need to!
