Taking Brown Makeup From Boring to Beautiful
Natural Makeup Look | Brown Eyeshadow
Hi Bronzing Beauties! I always covet the gorgeous, natural looks sporting by Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez! How do they make their looks so glam?
Sometimes, I find brown so boring, and if I can avoid brown eyeshadow, or brown anything, I do! However, all the rave right now is gorgeous, brown shades, and with shimmery, bronze colors to choose from, you cant help resist, but to bring back those boring browns!
So, I decided to put a little creative twist on them and bring out the beautiful and glamorous in brown!
1. MATTE BROWN EYESHADOW. This shade can be mixed with any of your bright eyeshadow. If you have always wanted to wear tangerine on your lid or a gorgeous tourquoise, add a little of brown matte to the crease and it will help tone down the brightness for a more everyday look! Also, you use this to fill in your eyebrows to frame your eyes for a professional, polished makeup look.
2. BROWN/NUDE LIP LINER. Did you know that by using a brown or nude lip liner can actually create the illusion you have larger lips? Yes! Just make sure you fill them in with a lighter shade of lip color. Dont make the shades contrast too much or you will look like you stepped into the early 90′s. 
I prefer MAC’s Spice Liner.

3. SHIMMERY BROWN EYESHADOW. You usually use it on the eyelid, right? Try something new! If its a darker shade wrap it around the eye as a eyeliner to add a nice Summery effect to your eye! It will make your eyes pop! Or, try wetting your brush and apply the eyeshadow on wet! It’s a quick and easy way to update your look to trend into Summer! I use Stila’s Barefoot Contessa.
4. BROWN/NUDE LIPSTICK. Always looks best as a gloss! Gloss is a great way to freshen up any look. You can even mix it with a little gold pigment or eyeshadow for a more shimmery, Summer look!
5. BROWN, NAIL POLISH. Hot, hot hot!! As we are seeing nails trending so much this year with all the different designs and colors, you have no excuse not to have gorgeous nails!!! If you are going for a brown shade, stick with metallics, or a color in the bronze family! If nude is your preference, always go with a matte shade. I like Barefoot in Barcelona by OPI.
So, bring back your boring browns and you will see they are not boring at all!!! They just needed a little reinvention to your look and you will look fabulous and glam in no time!
