Drugstore Brand Alert: L’oreal Moisturizer SPF 18

I am super excited to share with you a great drugstore brand moisturizer I discovered. I have been testing it out for the last several weeks as my skin is starting to change since its been getting slightly warmer . However, yesterday, as tempuratures soared up to 85 degrees, I dared to try out the SPF factor!
Now, there are several different formulas you can try: Active Daily Moisture, Revitalift, Age Perfect, Youth Code and more. I bought the Revitalift Day Cream, as it contains anti-aging properties and I always hope to look young and beautiful. Hah! The best thing about this product is it’s perfect for dry skin. Its thick, creamy texture ensures you will stay hydrated during the day without containing mineral oil. Mineral oil does not sink into the skin to hydrate. It rests on the surface only protecting the skin, not hydrating it. Revitalift made my skin feel soft and smooth.
The second best thing about this product is the price! It normally goes for $18 at Walgreens, but sometimes you can get it on sale for $13 for a nice size of 2.5 oz. It also made my skin feel very nice and firm. Now, this is a great day cream, and its thick, so it is probably best for someone who has normal to dry skin.
The SPF factor is a super duper plus!!!!! As I am committing to buying only day cream that contains SPF, this is seriously the best one I have found! Most moisturizers that contain SPF, have left a film on my face or made me smell like suntan lotion. l’oreal’s Revitalift not only has a nice perfume, fresh scent, it never made me feel like I had a film on my face!!!
Now, I can get glammed up even at the beach, knowing my face is hydrated and protected thanks to my new found love of Revitalift moisturizer!!!! Here is a little picture of me walking on the beach in Chicago and enjoying the sun with no worry of burning!
