Celebrity, Gwen Stefani gives us a “How To” make up lesson by sharing her eye make up tip with us and how she found it through a make up disaster!
Ever since she was thirteen, she studied and loved art, and was a art major in college. Gwen says, “I can draw and paint, that’s by background in college.” To this very day, she does not allow any makeup artist to apply makeup on her! She does her very own! When she is on tour or touring with No Doubt, she applies her own stage make up.
The L’oreal Paris Spokesmodel, says she “…learns from other makeup artists now, but in the past I had a real problem with makeup artists. I remember my first experience with a makeup artist was doing the first No Doubt album, the one that was shelved. Go back and look how ugly I look. It is the worst make up. From that time on, I was thinking, I am not going to let someone do my makeup because they dont know how to do it.”
Gwen also has found her special makeup trick that she uses on tour. She dishes to Elle, “Sweatproofing. You can get waterproof stuff at the beauty supply, but its mainly about layering…And, double lashes. I stick two rows of double lashes together.” Now thats GLAM, Gwen!!!
