Makeup Reviews | American Idol’s Lauren Alaina Makeup Look
Hi Guys! Is it me? Or, do you, too, think this is the BEST American Idol Season- Ever! Not only do I heart Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, but the contestants are so incredibly amazing! The talent is impeccable, and the makeup always looks fabulous!!! However, I was super inspired by Lauren Alaina’s makeup look she wore when she sang Elton John’s Candle In the Wind! I mean, who would have thought you could pair green eyeshadow with red lips? Well, YES YOU CAN!
STEP ONE: Prime your eyes with MAC’s Ocre Eye Primer, and apply Stila “Kalo” shadow all over the lid. Next, apply MAC’s Cork in the crease and a little higher on the brow bone. Add Stila’s “Bouquet” just underneath the eyebrow as a highlighter. Now, you can add the darker crease with Stila’s “La Douce.” Last add the eyeliner. I used Bobbi Brown’s Long Wear Eyeliner in Black Ink.
The lip shade is MAC’s “Hot Tahiti!” Its a great red and works on red heads, too!
