Hi Guys!  I thought I would create this little guide to be able to wear the makeup trends of the season all year round!!! Who says a makeup color is a trend?  What if the color loves you and you love it?  Does it mean you shouldn’t wear it in the Fall or Season after season? I say, if the color loves you, love it back and learn how to wear it everyday in a glamourous way!!!!

TREND: EYESHADOW – If you want to wear a trendy, eyeshadow color such as a yellow, blue, orange, its always great to have that color pop a bit on the lid.  I like to pair it up with Cork by MAC, for my crease color. Cork is my magic for everything.  I love to mix it with every color under the sun!  It’s a great way to mute or tone down the color in a way that it blends with the skin.  Think of it as a great belt that pulls together your outfit.

TREND: COLORED EYELINER AND MASCARA- I prefer to pair colored eyeliner and mascara with a complimentary eyeshadow shade.  So, if I was going to do yellow eyeshadow on the lid, I would pair it with violet eyeliner or mascara and keep the lip color light. For blue mascara or eyeliner, I would pair it up with violet eyeshadow, and a soft peach lip color.

TREND: LIP COLOR – Be bold and if you are going to wear a hot, fun color, then let that be the focal point.  There is nothing more fresh than a pop of color on the lip with just mascara and liquid eyeliner.  Remember, keep the eyes polished.  So, dont forget to curl your lashes and DO USE a base eyeshadow on the lid to hide any eyelid discoloration.

TREND: BOLD BLUSH –  If you are going to get a little more cheeky with blush go with a shade that will naturally warm up the skin.  Nars blush in Orgasm is a great shade for most skin types where you can go a little more on the color and not look like a clown.

TREND: BRIGHT NAILS – Sure, there are green, blue, and lots of flourescent colors out there!  Lets use yellow, for example.  In my opinion, if you are doing to go with a really strong vibrant color, shorter nails make the look more chic and polished!
