Move over Kevin Aucoin, there is a new kid in town!!!!! Salma Hayek is launching her very own makeup line!   It has been in development for the last 6-7 years and there is a great story behind it!  She tells New York Times Style magazine, “I always wanted to do this, since my grandmother, who was a beauty, she died at 96 with no wrinkles.  And, you should see my mother!”

The Freida star, says she will use some family beauty secrets behind the makeup line. The Mexican beauty claims “good genes” and “family beauty secrets” contribute to her flawless complexion.  The products will be based on recipes from her Mexican Grandmother. She reveals. “Have you ever heard of tepezcohuite? It’s an ingredient used to regenerate skin. You know how if you burn the stone of the mamey fruit and rub it on your eyelashes it makes them grow? Concha Nacar is a lightening cream…that is our next step!

The best thing is these products will be affordable, as the line, called Nuance,  will be exclusive to CVS Drugstores for makeup, skincare, haircare and body.

There is no exact date as to when the line will be launching, but it’s expected to launch in 2012. I cant wait!!!!!!!

Wow, 6 years in the making, talk about passion, Salma!!!  However, when you have passion, it’s good to let it shine!!!!
