Hi Guys! Since COLOR seems to be everywhere this season, I have created a guide to this season’s crazy colors!!!!  This is the year of color and now is as good of a time as any to express your individuality and let your inner beauty shine through the colorful world of makeup. Sometimes, we want to sport yellow shadow, or green eyeliner, but are unsure of what to wear with it. Step into our Color Makeup Guide!

The first step is to pick your best, facial feature which is where you should place the boldest color.  Next, you have to choose a bold color that compliments your skin tone, or eye color. Check out the Makeup Minutes Color Guide below to help you put it all together!

EYE POP OF COLOR GREEN, BLUE (eyeliner or eyeshadow)- can be worn with nude, or baby pink, or peach lip. For blush, apply a color very simular to the lip color, or use bronzer.  Bronzer always acts as a great neutral.

EYE POP OF COLOR VIOLET, ORANGE, YELLOW(eyeliner or eyeshadow) - can be worn with pinks, corals, nudes and light plum lip colors, but looks best with pinks. For blush, I recommend bronzer, corals or baby pinks.

LIP POP OF COLOR RED- can be worn with soft neutral eyeshadow.  Think champagnes, light browns, baby pinks, soft grey’s.  Add a brown or black gel or liquid liner, and lots of mascara to play up the eyes to balance out with the lip.

LIP POP OF COLOR FUSHIA, CORAL, ORANGE, VIOLET- can be worn with greys, browns, champagnes, golds and blush tones.  Think base and highlight colors.

For a more polished up look, I always recommend lining the lips with a lip liner!
