We could not have a Vegas adventure without going to Lake Mead.   Sure, you think of Las Vegas, you think of the strip, but there are many other great wonders and things to do besides the Las Vegas strip.  A few weeks ago, we visited the Hoover Dam.  It’s one of the largest dams in the United States and it is HUGE! Not to mention since on the border of Nevada and Arizona, how HOT it was. Thank God, I carry a small travel size of SPF 30 in my purse because my shoulders and arms needed it! The sun is a scorcher out here! Then we headed to the beautiful Lake Mead.

I really do need an entire new wardrobe here.  This was the only Summer dress I could find. When we got here it was 100 degrees and I needed more light weight summer dresses, but only Fall attire was to be found in ANY store. Unbelievable!!!

This was at Lake Mead!  Its one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen…crystal blue water!

We saw some unfamiliar road signs along the way to Lake Mead. You dont see these type of signs often!
