I am dying to be able to wear all the new 2011 Spring colors!!!! It certainly adds a little smile to my face when I can go about the Winter months with a pop of Spring color. However, Spring is still 6 weeks away! So for now, its about mid season makeup and mixing your old in with the NEW as well as working those new trends to fit the makeup girl in YOU!

If you are a Minimalist Makeup Girl, try a beautiful, bright, violet all over the lid, and blend it out up towards the crease.  Curl your lashes, add mascara and GO!  Urban Decay has these GREAT multi-purpose eye pencils called 24/7.  They glide on super smooth and are crease and water proof!

For all those Glamour Girls,  if you are currently wearing silver or grey palates on your eyes, try mixing in a bright violet eyeliner, or a gorgeous, matte peach hue on your lips. Or, try mixing your red lip color with a soft pink shade on the lids!!! I love the new Wonder Woman palette in Defiance by MAC.

If you are the Adventurous Makeup Girl,  try a lime green,  bright blue or tourquoise on your lids, add chocolatey browns in your crease to tone down the brightness a bit.  This, also, looks great with a nude or peach pout. I recommend L’Oreal’s HIP eyeshadow in Showy or Riotous paired with one of your basic, coco browns!

For the Classic Makeup Girl, a pale pink shadow on the lid adds a sweet look and pair it with nude or soft brown for your crease.  Finish it off with black liquid liner, and a pretty pink pout. I recommend Angelika Lip Gloss by Nars.
